An Egyptian Fugue - Flemish Harpsichord Version - by M0nTy_PyTh0n (Hyena Studios) - HD: This is the Flemish Harpsichord Version of my contemporary Fugue Composition. A few musicians who contacted me asked for this version, so here it is. Please note: I tried to make an 'aggressive canon' for this music piece. The chords were fitted to the harpsichord ground AND over-tones. It might sound dissonant in some places, but it was meant to have it. This is NOT a standard baroque fugue ... progress! Thank you for your interest and enjoy - or spend your time better! Regards, M0nTy_PyTh0n (Hyena Studios). It was seriously ment to have these dissonant places within this fugue! Actually, these are variations in cadences, but not exclusively... . Initially, this music piece was composed on a harpsichord. This music piece is definitely nothing what J.S. Bach would have ever composed. It starts with a canon, like a regular fugue, but, it goes much deeper and longer into a canon than a regular fugue, until it reaches a level of non-baroque music. From harmony and cadences I would assign it more to piano pieces of Bela Bartok, in some parts. Then, back to the roots - harmonic fugue cadences. More details later ...
