I think an expansion version of this should be great. Also pahaps more tools for creating the land layout and support for custom coding would also be nice.
I can't make programs myself but I was thinking it could help bring bring out more scripters.

Yes, an expansion would be fine, but I currently have not much time for this issue. The "Corruptor" thingy already consumes more time than I thought. Also, there is not a very high request for an update, currently. Anyway, YATE still works for AOM and AOM-TT (without the TT objects, terrains, and triggers). If someone puts hand on the generated xs-files, then he/she can replace the AOM items with the AOM-TT items. My tutorial should help for that issue. Regards, M0nTy.

Well, I would make one myself but I have no idea how to make applications. But for now yes, the tutorial should be fine. However I will have to admit that it was YATE that really started me off scripting. By editting the YATE files that I generated I became better and better at understanding the script. Then I moved onto the tutorials and gradurally improved my scripting untill now I can now nearly do anything and have even made my own finds for scripting which you have seen one of them.

This is the best compliment you could give to me Now I see that my work for YATE and the tutorial was not worthless.

Indeed out of all the RMS scripter programs like mapgen, YATE and such, YATE has definately got to be my favorite because it writes the maps in a layout I understand (I find it hard to understand Matei's layout) and it allows the implimenting of trigers. It also sets it up so it is easy to edit the maps too. The only real bad thing way that I occasionally created maps that syntaxed because of something I did wrong and there is no real good function of editing something you have just inserted with the program.

Yes, I know. That's why I also made the YateView logfile. By this file it is possible to recreate the XS file with modifications and load it into YATE, but, unfortunately I have not made these addings yet, and I have no time for it work on with it right now.
